Interview: CakeSpy

We're kicking things off with an interview from Jessie the creator behind CakeSpy, enjoy your daily dose of sweetness!
Tell us bit about yourself, your company.
CS: I have a company where I write about, and draw pictures of, baked goods. It is called CakeSpy.
When you were young, what did you want to be when you grew up?
CS: A Ghostbuster.
Is there a certain person, place or object you draw inspiration from?
CS: Person: Keith Haring. Place: Belvedere Castle in NYC. Object: every object in a fully stocked bakery case.
If you had no boundaries: money, time, space, support, etc. what dream project would you pursue?
CS: I am already doing it.
What’s your favorite thing to do to kill time?
CS: Any secret Internet time wasters, guilty pleasures? I love to watch slasher movies. I Spit On Your Grave, Bad Taste, ThanksKilling, Gay Bed and Breakfast of Terror--just a few of my faves.
Where do you like to go when you just want to get away? A beach, a mall, a market? What’s your favorite type of spot to go unwind.
CS: A pocket of nature in the city. I just visited the High Line in NYC and that is my ideal oasis.
If you only had one more meal to eat on this world what would it be? (It can be several courses)
CS: Ziti Pizza, crumb cake, and birthday cake.
What do you love most about UCU’s Summer Show?
CS: It's not cold!
