Tell us bit about yourself, your company.
CK- I am a handbag architect. I am celebrating my 10th year in business creating bags that are your home away from home. Roomy, durable and organized with personalized touches.
When you were young, what did you want to be when you grew up?
CK- A dentist.
Is there a certain person/place/object you draw inspiration from?
CK- Getting out from my sewing machine, out in the world people-watching. I have more ideas for bags than I'll ever humanly be able to create in a lifetime. But I'm going to try.
If you had no boundaries: money, time, space, support, etc. what dream project would you pursue?
CK- Furniture making, cobblery, or architecture
What’s your favorite thing to do to kill time? Any secret Internet time wasters, guilty pleasures?
CK- Watercolor or photography. I'm not very good at relaxing.
Where do you like to go when you just want to get away? A beach, a mall, a market? What’s your favorite type of spot to go unwind.
CK- Someplace green and leafy near a beach. With people. Basically all three.
If you only had one more meal to eat on this world what would it be? (It can be several courses!)
CK- Salmon. Avocados and chocolate.
What do you love about most UCU’s Summer Show?
CK- The summer show is the chance for customers to shop for themselves. The winter show tends to be more gift-centric which is fun too, but I really geek out on helping women find the bag that will accommodate their busy lifestyle and that makes them feel a little more stylish.

CK- I am actually going to bring a sampling of new experiments for women to try out and pre- order for fall, plus the much anticipated matinee bag in glaze. Aaand a sale tub of bags priced at $65 or less!
