Tell us bit about yourself, your company.
TD: I live in Portland Oregon where I've been for about 9 years. I have an 11 month old daughter named Birdie and a beautiful and funny baby-mama named Chelsea. I paint 3D pictures on salvaged and reused wood. Some people don't believe me when I tell them my paintings are 3D because they look "normal" with out the glasses. It's Chromadepth 3d which is achieved by the positioning of colors and values and the glasses break up the spectrum and lays it in space.

When you were young, what did you want to be when you grew up?
TD: From the first time I can remember having any ambitions or aspirations I wanted to be one of 3 things; an artist, a banker, or a beach bum. I'm pretty sure I made the right choice.

Is there a certain person, place or object you draw inspiration from?
TD: I draw a lot of inspiration from old cartoons. A lot of people think of Betty Boop as seen riding a Harley on the back and front of an oversized t shirt but those old Max Fliesher cartoons where amazing. The weired little details like a bug crawling out of a mountain mans beard and drinking a beer, or a walrus dancing in a spooky ice cave, where so trippy and bring you're mind into this space It hasn't been before. I hope I can even bring people halfway there with my art.

If you had no boundaries: money, time, space, support, etc. what dream project would you pursue?
TD: I was hoping you'd ask that. When I was a kid I would put a large poster board on my wall and draw an island that had a bunch of theme park rides, restaurants, and a go-cart track that went around the perimeter. When I was done I'd put another one up and start all over. I definitely still hang onto that dream. I would even settle for a mini golf resort and theatre plex bar and grill.

What’s your favorite thing to do to kill time? Any secret Internet time wasters, guilty pleasures?
TD: I just got cup string and ball things from a thrift store. But as far as digital fun? I definitely spend to much time favoriting things on Etsy.

Where do you like to go when you just want to get away? A beach, a mall, a market? What’s your favorite type of spot to go unwind.
TD: I really like to go to thrift shops. I don't even care If I find anything. Just being around all that old stuff and seeing it's history and evidence of use. I like that it's all kind of in piles and clusters. I get lost on new stores sometime to much order for me. to much packaging.

If you only had one more meal to eat on this world what would it be? (It can be several courses)
TD: Corn dog and egg role starter plate, mixed green salad with strawberries and oil and vinegar. For the main course a natural beef hamburger with a thick heirloom tomato and chevre cheese. And for desert peanut butter chocolate coconut ice cream.

What do you love most about UCU’s Summer Show?
TD: I've never been, but I'm super excited. I'm most excited to meet the other vendors. It looks like a quality bunch.

Tell readers what they should expect to see when they stop by and see you at UCU.
TD: I'm going to have a cozy little spot with a tun of 3D art, some sculptures and a mini piano I made.

Tripper is generously giving us an awesome little toadstool friend painting for one of you fabulous readers to display as your very own! Just leave a comment below before midnight on Thursday (6/30) for your chance to win.
