Vendor Interview- Rebe
Tell our readers a little bit about yourself and your work.
I am a fiber artist and have been making things for close to 45 years.
I started rebe 11 years ago and create mostly wearable pieces that will be timeless in someone's wardrobe.
What are some sources of inspiration for your work?
My inspiration comes first from textiles. Then I work with pattern and shape to create garments. I make things to be a part of someone's and my own lifestyle.
What was the best thing you did with your summer?
I got to travel this summer for pleasure along with craft festivals. It was great to be able to visit with family and friends, see new places and eat amazing food.
Are you showcasing anything new at the winter UCU show?
I am always making new styles and remaking favorites in new fabrics so essentially all my shows are new items.
What are you most excited about for UCU?
Just being back in Seattle. I was unable to be there for summer and I love visiting your fine city. Also the people at UCU are great.
