Vendor Interview and Giveaway- Danger Peach Design
Tell our readers a little bit about yourself and your work.
I am Rachel J Lieberman and I am the Peach in Danger Peach Design! I have been involved in the arts since childhood in one genre or another. I dabble in a few different mediums but mainly focus on embroidery. I like finding new and different ways to express myself through embroidery, whether it is the subject matter that is unique or the surface I am working on.
What are some sources of inspiration for your work?
I find inspiration in the everyday experience, a truck might catch my eye, a kid doing doing something silly, the way a building looks form a certain angle. I never know when inspiration will strike, but it is always exciting when it does!
What was the best thing you did with your summer?
What summer?! Sorry, couldn't help myself! I went on a trip to California to see family and friends and I brought my dog Oscar with me. It was fun and relaxing and now that I am thinking about it I want to hop on a plane right now!!
Are you showcasing anything new at the winter UCU show?
I will be showcasing some fun new jewelry pieces and of course new art work too. I have been working on some larger scale pieces and am looking forward to showing those.
What are you most excited about for UCU?
I am always excited about seeing what new vendors there are and of course checking out my favorite vendors too. I can't seem to get through UCU with out buying Salted Carmel Lollypops from This Charming Candy and at this point Betsy and Iya need to make me their spokesmodel, I have so many awesome earrings from them!
Rachel is so cool that she offered to giveaway a small freehand embroidery piece! Just leave a comment here for your chance to win. You will be able to pick up your prize at the show.
