Vendor Interview- Chet and Dot

Tell our readers a little bit about yourself and your work:
My name is Jenn Hill. I live in Portland Oregon with my partner Jenny,
a flock of 5 chickens, my sweet daughter and 1 soft kitty. .
Chet and Dot products are handmade using some of my favorite
materials, wool, linen, Japanese fabrics as well as paper.
I make softies, home goods and functional items like pouches and
wallets.
What are some sources of inspiration for your work?
I am inspired by nature, Japanese style and design, small, cute things
and mid century design. I find a lot of inspiration from vintage craft
magazines too.
What was the best thing you did with your summer?
This summer I found time for going on picnics. I picked a lot of
berries and canned a lot of jam. I ate dinner outside as much as
possible.
Are you showcasing anything new at the winter UCU show?
Oh, I will be showcasing some new lovelies made from washi paper.
What are you most excited about for UCU
I'm super excited to meet all the lovely Seattle vendors and shoppers
that I hear such great things about.
