Vendor Interview- Constellation & Co.
Tell our readers a little bit about yourself and your work.
We are Constellation & Co., the husband and wife team of Sara and Brad McNally. Together we create elegant, vintage inspired design with personality. We specialize in letterpress printed ephemera, from our line of letterpress greeting cards and gifts (printed using vintage wood type & imagery) to completely custom wedding suites.
What are some sources of inspiration for your work?
We're inspired by all kinds of things! Here's a brief list: paper, our cats, food, interior design, nature, photography, music, estate sales, good television, knitting, our beautiful city of Seattle, etc., etc., etc.
What was the best thing you did with your summer?
We had a busy summer! We participated in the UCU Summer Show (which was awesome!), moved our apartment (which we have been enjoying redecorating), did our first Fab sale (also awesome!), and lugged our 1,200 lb. printing press across Pioneer Square to our new studio and print shop!
Are you showcasing anything new at the winter UCU show?
You betcha! But to quote Doctor Who..."Spoilers!"
What are you most excited about for UCU?
We love sharing our love for letterpress with new people! We can't wait to meet you all!
