Vendor Interview- Leonarte Designs

Tell our readers a bit about yourself and your work.
I'm originally from Torino (Italy), I was born and raised there. I moved to the States 23 years ago, I live in Seattle from 21 where I create and produce my fine art works and designs. My work is influenced from my Italian Heritage and Tradition. It's evocative, colorful and eclectic. Bounce between figurative and abstract. I work with mixed media and use graffito as a technique. My art is positive, passionate and timeless.
What are some sources of inspiration for your work?
Human character and his experiences through time inspire me a lot. Spiritual freedom and nature does to. I often involve poetic emphasis and mythology subjects dear to me.
What was the best thing you did with your summer?
Newport in oregon coast...Lighthouse, South Beach, and long beach walks.
Are you showcasing anything new at the winter UCU show?
It's all new...because is my first time here at the UCU.
What are you most excited about for UCU?
Because is original, selective, independent...and prestigious.
