Tell our readers a little bit about yourself and your work.
My husband, Doug, and I invented Shower Art. It is waterproof art you can hang in your shower with a suction cup. Or anywhere else. We're no dictators.
We are both stand up comics who have decided to spend a large amount of our time encasing hilarious (to us) phrases and toys in rubber. We also ride bikes, do Bikram yoga and play super-nerd board games. I'm obsessed with embroidery and Doug knits things in morse code. We also both do Drupal development so if you need a website - you can talk to us about that too (we CAN make things that are not hilarious).

What are some sources of inspiration for your work?
Everything sarcastic inspires us. Many times we will be having a yelling match with other comics (you guys call them a conversation) and someone will say something that is perfect for Shower Art. We steal that thing and then call it "inspiration." Our main goal with Shower Art is to crack each other up. The fact that other people like them is really just gravy.

What's the best thing you did with your summer?
We took a road trip to Vegas and then LA to visit friends and vend at the LA Renegade. We had mucho fun. We also ran into (not literally) a large bull (with an erection) blocking the road at one point in our trip. Fun!

Are you showcasing anything new at the winter UCU show?
YES! We have partnered with artist: Barry Blankenship to produce a handful of t-shirts based on popular Shower Art concepts. The first one we are releasing is called AT-AT Love. Mmmmmmmm... It's deliciously nerdy.

What are you most excited about for UCU?
I'm most exited about UCU just happening. The winter show is literally my very favorite weekend of the year and I cannot wait for it to arrive (although it would be great to make a FEW more things before it hits).

I can tell that this young woman is very special. I am a bit biased. You see, I'm her mother. It makes me so proud that she is her grandpa's granddaughter inside and out. I attended most of those weddings and could spot Court's jewelry not only hanging from the ears of the bride and bridesmaids, but on necks throughout the crowd!
