She was born and raised in Karachi where her culinary education began in her grandmothers kitchen. She is the author of \u201cThe Karachi Kitchen\u201d, an award winning cookbook featuring classic and contemporary South Asian recipes from her childhood and motherhood. <\/span><\/p>\n
