Hi! I\u2019m Sarah Weeger. My closest friends call me Weegs, and I thought I’d use my personal favorite greeting (because it means I get to see them) as the name of my company. As a former graphic designer for 10+ years, I periodically made cards for things like friends\u2019 baby showers when I struggled to find cards in the store that sounded like something I\u2019d say. So I\u2019d make my own. In 2017 though, I became a mom, and I was diagnosed with a Postpartum Depression and Anxiety. As part of my healing, I got back into creating. However, instead of returning to client work, I began designing cards I wish I had received as I was going through my shit; cards that would make me and others struggling feel seen. Cards like, \u201cCongrats on your baby! Sorry about your boobs,\u201d and \u201cWhat doesn\u2019t kill you makes you want to dropkick whoever says it makes you stronger\u201d were born \u2013 cards that didn\u2019t dance around the tough stuff but instead, faced them head-on while providing a laugh whenever possible. Today, I offer over 60 designs like this \u2013 cards that tell it like it is \u2013 and I\u2019m proud to say almost every single one of them was designed not just with the community in mind, but WITH the community itself. Every time I think of an idea for a card, I start by asking, \u201cWhat\u2019s one thing you\u2019d want to see or hear in a card that would make your day?\u201d And I design with\u00a0their answers in mind. So these cards are the result of this collective effort, pulling from all of our life experiences.
