joeyfivecents is a handmade jewelry & accessories line by Susan Forker featuring original vintage paper imagery & resin, mixed metals and vintage findings. Formerly, I worked as an editor manipulating moving images and sound as a means to tell a narrative. Though I now create with repurposed paper and vintage components, it’s still about telling a story. Vintage books, packaging and graphic imagery become the inspiration and focus for each of my finished pieces. I see the sum of my work and presentation as my ability to find the story in each piece and to tell it in a way that speaks to a modern audience.
