Uzura 

I am a Seattle-based screenprint artist passionate about sustainable living and Pacific NW nature, especially birds — with a hint of my Japanese heritage showing in my design aesthetics as well. My company name uzura, Japanese for ‘quail,’ comes from the little pet button quails we keep as pets. My designs show an appreciation of the natural world around us and are presented on women’s and men’s apparel in eco-conscious materials. My goal is to introduce the awareness of green materials such as hemp, organic cotton and bamboo to a wide range of customers through my original nature-inspired designs.
