Sweetbody Laboratories came from a need for an all natural yet effective everyday pain reliever, and a deep tissue massage lotion that wouldn’t be so drying to our skin. As a partnership of licensed massage therapists, we needed products that are nourishing to the skin and soft tissue, effective at soothing inflammation, and, above all, smell freakin’ amazing.

Our products emerged based on many years of feedback from our massage clients, at our private practice in NE Portland, Oregon: Unwind Massage. We found the ‘magic’ formulas for deep tissue pain relief, and our clients wanted to take the products home with them for self care and pain relief between massage appointments – and so, Sweetbody Laboratories was born.

We use only certified organic, sustainably sourced ingredients, and the highest quality essential oils available. Most of our supplier partners are locally-owned small businesses, here in Portland and along the West Coast.

Sweetbody Arnica massage balms, oils, and bath soaks are multi-faceted in their usefulness, shelf stable without chemical additives, and provide the dual pain-relieving benefits of aromatherapy and decrease in inflammation.

Any and all of our products can be used every day, once in awhile, for stress and tension, for acute pain, for chronic pain, for bugbites and sunburned skin – the list goes on! What started as a massage balm is now a useful addition to your First Aid kit.

This multi-functionality was designed with intention: natural and effective alternative products for everyday pain relief and body care for everybody.
