Many of my @beckylairdpottery pieces are wheel-thrown and decorated with hand-drawn designs that are influenced by the details in my surroundings, especially the beauty of the Pacific Northwest. MyWa goal is to make work that feels good to be held and becomes integral in daily routine and ritual.
I am grateful that I have the opportunity to create with my hands. I am proud that I have had opportunities to share my work with local and larger communities. I feel especially proud when folks tell me that they use my work in their daily lives. I am proud that I have let my business grow organically and that I have remained authentic in my making and sharing.
I am always working on new designs and illustrations and am excited to share new work.
