Coast to Coast Sustainables @c2csustainables  is a women-owned business focused on creating reusable, low-waste alternatives for everyday life. What started in 2020 with home sewing machines, scrap fabric, and a mission to reduce waste has grown into a full-time operation with a small (but mighty!) team, a growing product line, and retail partners across the country. Each item is handmade with care using a blend of OEKO-TEX certified, upcycled, and high-quality fabrics. We design with intention, creating goods that are not only eco-friendly, but also functional, durable, and easy to incorporate into real life (yes, even with messy kitchens and busy schedules!). Markets are one of our favorite ways to connect, we love chatting with curious customers, trading sustainable living tips, and showing people that low-waste living doesn’t have to be all-or-nothing… or beige. We’re thrilled to be part of this event and can’t wait to join a community that celebrates creativity, community,, and conscious living!

We’re endlessly inspired by nature, the forests, coastlines, and wild places we love to explore are a constant reminder of why we do what we do. Our work is rooted in the belief that small, everyday choices can help protect the planet we call home. We also draw inspiration from the people around us, from our families and friends to the incredible community we’ve built through markets and retail partners. Some of our best product ideas have come from conversations with customers who say, “You know what I wish I had a reusable version of…?” We love the challenge of turning single-use habits into long-lasting, beautiful solutions. At the heart of it all, our inspiration comes from a desire to create meaningful change and to prove that sustainability can be both practical and joyful.

One of the things we’re most proud of is how far we’ve come since starting Coast to Coast Sustainables with just a few scraps of fabric and two sewing machines at our kitchen table. What began as a side project during uncertain times has grown into a full-time business with a small team, products on shelves across the country, and a strong presence in our local maker community. We’re especially proud of the relationships we’ve built along the way, with customers who return again and again, market organizers who’ve cheered us on, and fellow small business owners who inspire us daily. It’s incredibly fulfilling to know that our products are helping people reduce waste in a real, tangible way and that we’ve created something that aligns with our values and supports our community!

Are you releasing any new items at these shows this season?
Yes, a few we hope. One for sure will be a reusable bread bag, a product that has been requested numerous times from our customers at markets. It’s still in the testing phase but planning to launch by the end of June. One other product we are working on for flower shops we work with, are reusable flower bouquet bags. Potential to also launch in June!
