There’s so many facets to running a small business and the accomplishments happen on a weekly basis! However, I feel quite honored that I am able to spend time doing things I absolutely love: working with plants in a holistic setting where I acknowledge and honor their medicine, and bring it to the people. This work brings me so much joy and I know it brings joy to those that use these products! That’s reciprocity in action.
While Ballard Organic Skincare is dedicated to caring for people primarily through skincare, we see the need for all people across the world to have access to clean water and food so we choose to donate to World Central Kitchen (https://www.wck.org/). They do amazing work! Locally we donate to a variety of school fundraisers– we are mothers and intimately know that children are capable of incredible things when they are cared for and loved. Brooke also teaches after school classes in organic gardening at BF Day Elementary in Fremont.

Our high-vibration skincare is crafted with fragrant herbs, flowers, and roots harvested at peak potency and joyfully formulated to be gentle yet effective, allowing ones own unique skincare ritual & daily routine to be created. We proudly support organic farming practices collaborating with farmers and suppliers, and grow many of our own medicinal plants at our urban farm in Seattle! We also partner with I & I Farm in Humboldt, CA where Brooke’s sister, an herbalist and wise woman, grows many of our beautiful herbs as well. Organic isn’t just a label – it’s our way of life. We know that the original state of nature is pure, and free from synthetic chemicals, artificial fragrances, and genetically modified plants. We’re dedicated to using earth-conscious packaging, reducing our impact, and honoring the interconnectedness of all living beings.
