Hi! I’m Elizabeth Person @elizabethpersonart and I make modern maps in ink and watercolor.
While I wish I could make dynamic abstract art, I found my passion in making information heavy art like maps and infographics. I love exploring places and topics through my art.
I’m really proud of fully supporting myself through my art, and only art, the last eight years. My income is actually higher now than it was in my corporate job. It’s possible!
I love donating to educational causes and local non profits in the Everett, WA area, where I’m based. https://www.deltagarage.org/ is a charity I just found out about that helps youths from low income areas access training for careers in mechanical trades.
I finished two maps that were at the tippy top of the “most requested” list: Vashon Island and Spain.
