Oh hi there! I’m Renny @toughtataspottery the potter behind the tatas. I work out of my home studio creating one of a kind functional pottery. I often incorporate my love of whimsy and dorky sense of humor into the pieces I create.
I’m pretty much a homebody so I find inspiration from my family, being a parent, all my various pets and my spazzy mind that spins all over the place.
The thing about my small business that I’m most proud of is that I freaking did it! It’s a bold move to think you can create things and then try to sell them. Sometimes it feels so nutty, difficult, and humbling but I keep putting on my big girl pants and get out there!
I’m pretty excited about the pedestal bowls and berry bowls I’ve been making. They’re so cheerful, I love having them set out on the counter, full of fruit, it’s a treat to walk by and see them.
